Fun and Games in Therapy

The new school year has begun and I’m looking forward to a great year!  Now that the stress of scheduling has started to decrease, I’m gearing up for fun.  Don’t we all want to enjoy what we’re doing?  Of course we do!  The kids do too!

I am revving up my brain and searching everywhere for inspiration.  I believe that children learn better when they are engaged, participating, and having fun.  So, I’m kicking the therapy rut to the curb and will be trying new things, playing more games, and developing more materials.  AND, I’m expecting amazing speech and language results!

The good news for you is that I’ll be sharing my ideas and materials along the way.  I know that most of you are looking for quick, easy, fun ideas that don’t take a lot of time preparing.  I’m right there with you.

  3. I love your website! Thank you so much for all your ideas and recommendations. They are very useful. Do you have any suggestions for board games that target speech and language skills? I have some ideas but I was hoping for some more. My kids are always asking to play games in speech. Any help would be much appreciated!
