Parts of Speech Sorting – Circus Theme

You can help your students practice identifying the four basic parts of speech (i.e., nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs) with these sorting activities. Included with the printable file are instructions, 60 circus-related word cards, and four sorting pages. With the interactive file, students sort eight words between two parts of speech per page. There are 40 words provided.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
