Apple Tree Category Sorting

This hands-on activity is a great way for your students to practice categorizing using pictures. There are six apple trees with categories on them and five apples for each tree. Put the trees on the table and then pass out the apples to the students. The students sort the apples to the trees based on their pictures. This can be used with individual students or groups.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag and drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
