    HI SLPs!

I too am fresh out of grad school and just started my CF at a school for young children. I work mainly with preschool aged children and a few cute little Kindergarten kids! :) Going from a small, “cush” caseload during my grad school clinic days to a full fledge caseload of 40+ kids I have quickly learned how crucial is for creating useful, personalized lesson plans for the students I work with. I really enjoy the “printables” section which allows me to have quick access to wonderful ideas I can adapt to meet some of the children’s needs on my caseload. And as I have had to transition from having professors and 15+ peers to a handful of colleagues bounce ideas off, this site has been great for fresh new ideas! So excited to try out all the fun products available and new ideas coming! :)

I never tire of trying new ideas. Looking back, it seems ridiculous that I spent the first years of being an SLP making all my materials, struggling with purple worksheet copies on a “mimeograph machine,” and using a Selectric Typewriter to write reports (and where was “Wite-Out” when I really needed it????). Yes, I am a kind of dinosaur, but I can and want to learn new tricks – thank you for providing the materials, themes, ideas and discussions that help stimulate my mind and, sometimes, totally rejuventate my spirit.

I have been an SLP in various capacities for many years, and 5 years ago began working in a k-5 building with 2 multi-categorical classrooms and a huge caseload. I love getting new quick and easy ideas monthly–it makes my life so much easier (and keeps me from getting bored with the same old games!)

Speech Therapy Ideas is a god send. I have a large case load and no budget so I often have to make materials which can be tiresome and time consuming. I look forward each month to receiving your e-mails to see what ideas you have come up with for the month. I have also used some of your strategies for the pesky /k/ & /g/ and have met with success. I dont know how you come up with soo many great ideas! Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Speech Therapy Ideas has been my life saver. I have recently graduated from university and am now working as a sole practioner in a rural area in NSW Australia. My closet Speech Pathologist support is an hour away as is my direct supervisor. Receiving Speech Therapy Ideas emails has made a huge difference to my working life. I feel much more prepared for sessions and my stress levels are well under control due to these invaluable resources. I particularly love the pdf themed activities. The kids really enjoy them and ask for them most sessions. I also find receiving the emails and the information provided on the websites particularly useful in answering tricky case questons I may have. The website and discusion boards are a great resource for professional development and a saviour to sole practioners. Thank you so much for making these resources available. The time and effort you put in to this website is very much appreciated!! I have referred all my university colleagues to your site.

I look forward to the monthly materials because it gives me a fresh idea to change things up in my therapy routine. It is so easy to get stuck in an “activity rut” and with Becky’s great resources ruts are no longer necessary! I am able to gain a new perspective on planning therapy sessions, rather than leaning on my usual games and crafts. It really helps keep the kids interested and helps me look forward to therapy sessions! I like to print the materials out and keep them in a binder so that I can easily pull them out and make a copy! It saves so much time. I am so thankful for all of Becky’s hard work and willingness to share her creativity and effort! Thanks so much :)

There are so many times that I just can’t come up with a creative lesson, or something that fits my student’s goals and interests, and that is why I am a huge fan of Speech Therapy Ideas! Thanks for all the great resources and therapy ideas :)

I am a mother of a 7 year old boy with autism who is currently undergoing speech therapy. He is just starting to verbalize and this site has produced materials that has greatly helped me to tutor my son into communicating with us. I just wish I could have a free subscription of speech therapy materials for my son. Thank you and God bless.

I found this amazing website when I was searching the web for new, exciting therapy ideas. I signed up for the monthly newsletter. In the busy world of school SLP’s, it was Fabulous when the email arrived full of great ready to use ideas!I loved the summer home packets. I struggle with gathering up materials to send home to parents. It’s especially difficult to gather up these materials at the end of a school year, when we are stretched in so many different directions. Speech Therapy Ideas have helped me with how I plan my therapy. I am organizing my ideas and creating folders. This way I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every school year. Thanks!

I was looking for materials online for the new school year and stumbled on this website. After I received the free describing set I was so excited! I am really looking forward to exploring this company’s website and tools to help make my life easier! I recently graduated, and am working with both general ed elementary students and severely handicapped students at a middle school. Searching for materials is neverending. I would love to get a free subscription this year, it would be an invaluable tool!

These materials have been fantastic. Every month I cannot wait to receive the email with the new materials. It is exciting to not only find out what the topic with be but what great materials there will be to work on that topic. The activities are also great to use with diferent topics or themes.

I could not possibly choose what my favourite has been as I have got such great use out of all of them. I love them, the students love them. I lessens the workload for preparation and gives me more time to spend with the studenst which is the goal.

Thank you so much for all the great activities.

I’m excited about the possibility of utilizing this website to save time and be able to offer my students a variety of different materials. I work in a middle school and work with students that have a variety of needs (autism, social language deficits, language based disorders, articulation and fluency).
The games will be excellent in order to provide carryover at home to reinforce the skills we are using. This website for a full year free will be so wonderful not only for getting to adapt and utilize these materials for myself but also for what my children on my caseload will gain. I never win anything but if I could only win one thing ever it would be this! Keeping my fingers crossed :)

As a new clinician with minimal materials and funding, any assistance that is available is GREATLY appreciated!! I look forward to the monthly emails with fresh new ideas because it is so easy to run out of therapy activities. I often tell other fellow SLPs about Speech Therapy Ideas and insist that they sign up for the monthly emails. Last fall, I used the clothes line activity and got several compliments. Every activity idea I get from Speech Therapy Ideas that students LOVE which makes my life a lot easier. Plus, it is nice when times are busy and I don’t have the time to create or develop new activities. Each month when I receive a monthly packet, I print it off and put it in a three ring binder. For example, I was preparing a lesson for my younger kiddos featuring “The Hungry Caterpillar” book and I remembered a couple months past that I had received an email about a picnic theme that included activities focusing on this exact book. It allowed me to cut back on my preparation and focus more on the students.

Thank you so much for suppling stimulating materials that are able to be used with almost any age group!!!

I am a graduate student and the products here at have helped me out so much in planning for my therapy sessions. As a new therapist I have gotten so many great ideas and the kids love all the activities. This site has made my planning easier and given me great materials to use during my sessions. I the sound sets are my favorite as it has all the words that can be used as stimilus, ideas in how to make therapy fun and effective and games to play with the kids. Finding this site has made my life easier and helped make therapy more fun and effective. Thanks!!!!

Your web site has made my life so much easier. Oh my gosh!! Easy-to-navigate, loaded with materials. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. I used your Describing Dogs activity last school year and the kids just loved it. It fit so well with the school-age set.

I really came across a gold mine when I found your site!! I am a speech therapist in the school setting. I am always looking for new ideas and there never seems to be enough time to create my own materials. I really appreciate the materials that are available on this site. It is sooo nice of you to offer them to busy SLPs like me for free and I totally understand where you are coming from when you are talking about the costs to you.
