Combining Sentences – Garden Theme

These 20 sentence pairs are a great way for students to practice combining simple sentences into sentences with compound subjects or predicates by eliminating the redundant words and using the conjunction “and.” The printable file includes manipulatives and worksheets. Students can drag the words into order to create a new sentence when using the interactive file.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are not in presentation mode.
