Leprechaun Preposition Picture Cards

Leprechaun Preposition Picture Cards

Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, these picture cards make finding “Lucky the Leprechaun” a great way to work on prepositions, receptively or expressively!

The prepositions used are:

  • in
  • on
  • under
  • behind
  • in front of
  • next to

Receptive Language:

Place the pictures that have Lucky with the same object (e.g., the tree) in front of the student. Tell the student to point to the picture with the preposition you name (e.g., “Point to the picture where Lucky is behind the tree.”). You can also put a variety of pictures out and have the student find all of the pictures where Lucky is “next to” to the objects.

Expressive Language:

Show a picture to the student and have him/her tell you where Lucky is relative to the object in the picture.

There are 24 picture cards included that are available in color and black and white versions.
