Combining Sentences – Pizza Theme

This language skill is one that many students find challenging until it has been explicitly taught to them.  Use these pizza-themed sentences to give your students practice combining sentences with and without using the word “and” by adding an adjective from one sentence to the other.

These worksheets contain 20 pairs of sentences to combine, manipulatives to use, as well as an interactive file where students can drag the words to make a new sentence.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
