Words of Order with Insects

Words of Order with Insects

Work on spatial words of order (e.g., first, third, last, in the middle) with these springtime insects.  You can have the student point to the one you say for receptive skill practice or have the student name the location for the insect you point to for practicing expressive skills.

The printable files include a picture page and 12 directions to follow (e.g., Show me the second bee). The interactive file includes directions and a moveable arrow for the student to use to point to the correct answer.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag and drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
