Mitten Antonyms
Go beyond “good/bad” and “happy/sad” antonyms! Help your students build their vocabularies with these antonym cards! They are great for the older students on your caseload.
You can use them for receptive tasks, such as matching games, or for expressive tasks where you have your students name the opposite word for the card they draw with game boards or reinforcement activities. There are cards with numbers and letters to help with matching and those without.
Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
