Scamper the Squirrel is here to help your students work on prepositions, receptively and expressively! With fall in the air, your students will love finding where this cute little squirrel is looking for nuts!
The prepositions used are:
- in front of
- next to
Put the pictures that have Scamper with the same object (e.g., the tree) in front of the student. Tell the student to point to the picture with the preposition you name (e.g., “Point to the picture where Scamper is behind the tree.”). You can also put a variety of pictures out and have the student find all of the pictures where Scamper is “next to” to the objects.
Show a picture to the student and have him/her tell you where Scamper is relative to the object in the picture.
There are 30 picture cards included that are available in color and black and white versions.
