Star Collecting for R Sounds

Make practicing “r” sounds fun for your students as they reveal and collect the hidden stars with this interactive game. There are game boards for initial /r/, medial /r/, “ar”, “er”, and “or”. Each game board has 20 picture cards that are uncovered as they are clicked on.

When a card with a hidden star is clicked, the star is revealed and then flies across to the right-hand side of the screen. There are 5 game boards for each of the “r” sounds, so your students can play multiple times and not know where the stars are hidden.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. This file can only be used in PowerPoint due to limitations in Google Slides. Make sure to use this file in slide show mode.
