Snappy the Snail for Speech and Language Therapy
“Snappy the Snail” is a sweet story about a snail that wants to be faster. There are three different interactive files included – one for language and two for speech.
The “Snappy the Snail” file includes the story and questions based on vocabulary from the story, as well as who, what, when, how, and why questions. It is best used in slideshow/presentation mode.
With the “Snappy the Snail” fill-in stories, students drag and drop the words that begin with /sn/ or a variety of /s/ clusters into the story where they belong while practicing them at the word and sentence levels. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are NOT in presentation mode. If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
Interactive Material: This material includes interactive files that can be used in teletherapy. The files can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student.
