Fall Rhyming Picture Pairs and Sentences

These rhyming picture pairs can be used in a variety of ways to work on identifying rhyme, which is a key skill of phonemic awareness.  Use these pictures in an identification activity or a memory matching game.  One of the pictures in each pair is a fall-themed word. The rhyming picture sentences include one of the rhyming picture pairs with a box for a picture of its rhyming word to go in. There are picture choices at the bottom of the page that you cut off and have the student put in the box.

Included are 20 picture cards and 10 picture sentences in black and white or color versions.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version of the picture sentences that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag and drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
