Mustache Match-Up for Antonyms

Mustache Match-Up for AntonymsThese match-up cards are a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice and demonstrate receptive vocabulary skills.  Just print out the cards, cut them apart, and cut the mustaches in half.  You can cut around the mustaches or simply cut the cards apart.  This printable therapy material includes 30 antonym pairs.

You can use the mustache cards in a variety of ways…

  1. Place all of the pieces in the middle of the table for the students to match up.
  2. Pass out the left mustache sides to the students and place the right sides in the middle of the table.
  3. Place the mustache halves upside-down and use them in a memory game for identification of correct pairs.  This can become an expressive language task if you have the students name the antonyms for the halves that don’t match.
