Final Consonant Deletion Sentence Fill-Ins

Final Consonant Deletion Sentence Fill-Ins
These fill-in sentences with pictures are a great hands-on way to work on final consonant deletions.

The picture for the word that completes the sentence (the target word) is first picked from two choices, indicating an awareness of the difference in meaning between the two minimal contrast pair words.  Next, the student places the picture into the sentence and says the sentence, making sure to pronounce the target word correctly. Directions for prep and use are included in the printable file.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are NOT in presentation mode. If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
