Valentine’s Day Themed Idiom Cards and Worksheets

There are many idioms based on the words “heart” and “love” that are used year-round, but February is a perfect time to work on them!  We’ve got 30 idioms and their meanings presented in three different formats – cards, worksheets, and an interactive file.  The card pairs include an idiom and its meaning and can be used in matching games or as stimulus cards for other games.  The 3 different worksheets each contain 10 idioms and their meanings, which can be used as practice pages or as pre-tests and post-tests. The interactive version has the student matching meanings to their idioms and can be used in Google Slides or PowerPoint.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
