Honeycomb Sentence Building

Do you have students that need to practice building longer and more complex sentences? These honeycomb pieces and mats are just what you need! There are mats with spots for 3 honeycombs all of the way up to 8 honeycombs. The student picks from garden-themed nouns, verbs, and adjectives and then adds some articles and prepositions. The next thing you know, they are making longer and longer sentences! There is also an interactive version that they can use to create sentences of increasing length.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
