Say and Choose for Final Consonant Deletion
These picture-based pages are a great way to work with students who eliminate final consonants. Have the student say the first picture and then add the final sound. Once they’ve done that, they can choose the picture that goes with the word they’ve just said. Have them practice saying the words with final consonants again, going back to the original picture and ending sound if needed.
You can have them glue the pictures on the page, or you can place Velcro on the back of laminated pages and pieces for a reusable activity.
