Combining Sentences – Ice Cream Theme

This language skill is one that many students find challenging until it has been explicitly taught to them.  Use these ice cream-themed sentences to give your students practice combining sentences without using the word “and” by adding an adjective from one sentence to the other sentence.

These worksheets contain 20 pairs of sentences to combine, manipulatives to use, as well as an interactive file where students can drag the words to make a new sentence.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are NOT in presentation mode.
