Negation Picture Cards

Negation is an important language concept to understand in its different forms. These picture cards use “is not,” “does not,” and “can’t” while featuring concepts such as colors, shapes, attributes, and categories.

You can print these out as worksheets or cut them into cards. If you laminate them and your students use dry-erase markers, they can be used over and over again. With the interactive version, students drag an arrow to their answer.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are NOT in presentation mode. If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
