“Little Red Hen” Story and Related Materials

Using books and stories in your sessions is a fantastic way to tie in a wide variety of language skills. The “Little Red Hen” is a classic story that goes great with a farm-themed unit. You can use the included pages to address story elements, such as characters and setting, as well as sequencing skills and story retell. There is also a page of questions about the story included.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. You can progress through the story in presentation mode, but then need to exit out of it for the pieces to be movable on the last three slides. You’ll also need to enable editing if you are using PowerPoint.
