Feed the Frog – F Sound
This activity is a fun way for your students to practice their speech sounds! With the printable page, you can cut a hole in the frog’s mouth for the cards to go into and attach it to an empty tissue box, cup, or other container. Printing on cardstock and/or laminating the frog will help it stand up better. There are 10 pictures included for /f/ in each sound position (initial, medial, and final), but you can use the frog with any picture cards you have.
With the interactive version, students drag a picture to the frog’s mouth and it “disappears”. It is recommended that you make a copy of the original file before using it to make “resetting” it easier.
Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
