Find Your Sound Pages for L Sound

Find Your Sound for L Sound

Use these print-and-go, no prep pages with your students who are working on identifying and/or producing targeted sounds. All you need are the printed pages and some kind of markers (e.g., bingo chips, pennies, tiny erasers) for your students to use. For students that are only working on identifying their sound in different positions of words, say the name of each picture for them and have them decide whether or not it contains their sound. If it does, they cover the picture with a marker.

For students who are working on saying their targeted sound at the word or sentence level, have them say the name of each picture. If it has their target sound, they say it again and cover it or say a sentence (e.g., “Lock has the L sound.”) and cover it.

There are 15 pictures with the target sound and 10 foils on each page. An answer key is included.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag and drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
