Friendship Soup Fill-In Story for K Sound

This fill-in-the-blank winter story is a fun way for students to practice /k/ at the word and sentence levels. Have the students pick words from the choices provided or come up with their own. Fill in the story with their answers and read it back to them or have them read it if they are able. The interactive version allows you to drag the chosen words into the story.

The fill-in story Friendship Soup and 30 initial, 30 medial, and 30 final /k/ word choices are included in the printout and interactive versions.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag-and-drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT in presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
