Apple Picking Dice Game
This apple picking game is fun, versatile, and easy to prepare. It can be used with any stimuli, along with a die and the printable materials included here. Easy as (apple) pie!
The object of the game is to collect ten apples from the apple tree. After completing a speech or language task, the student rolls a die and follows the directions on the key. If a 1 is rolled, he/she collects one apple. A 2 gets two apples, and a 3 gets the student three apples. But watch out for 4, 5, and 6. They require the student to return apples to the tree!
This game includes instructions, a tree page, 60 apple pieces, and a key. It is available in black and white, color, and interactive versions.
Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. Just use your favorite online die or 6 choice spinner to go with it. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order to drag and drop the pieces, make sure you are in edit mode (NOT presentation mode). If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
