Parts of Speech Game Cards for Christmas

How do you make learning parts of speech fun? Use this printable, portable, and practical game! Since it only requires the cards included, you can simply print, cut, and play or use the interactive version! There are 48 Christmas themed game cards and a reference page included.
How to Play
- Display the cards face down where the students are able to get them. I usually place them on the table in rows or in a pocket chart.
- Have the students take turns picking a card and attempting the task on it.
- If they are able to complete it, they keep the card, which is worth the number of points in parentheses. If they are unable to do it, the card is placed back in play for the other students to try.
- When all of the cards are earned or when the time limit is reached, help the students add up their points from the cards. Adding them up is pretty easy since all of the cards are worth 25, 50, 75, or 100 points. Whoever has the most points, wins!
Note: Feel free to exclude any cards that may be too difficult for your students.
Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint. Make sure to use this file in slide show/presentation mode. When used in PowerPoint, the picture cards will slide over as each one is clicked. When used in Google Slides, the front card will change when you click anywhere on the screen.
