Christmas Song Silly Fill-Ins

Here’s a fun way to work on articulation, language (parts of speech), and fluency using the same activity! And, you can do it as a group or individually. How’s that for flexible?! With Christmas song silly fill-ins for “Jingle Bells,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” be ready for some silliness and laughter and requests to do it again! You can also send these home with your students to practice with their families.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Fold the paper in half so the students can’t see the song and have them come up with words for the missing parts of speech.
  2. Open the paper up and fill in the blanks with the words they came up with.
  3. Have the students read or sing the song with good speech production and fluency.
