Practice Grids for SH Sound

Practice Grids for SH Sound

Once you start using practice grids, you’ll never want to be without them! They are fantastic for practicing the same words over multiple sessions or for sending home with the student to practice between sessions. You can put stickers or tally marks in the boxes after each image, which can help with keeping data. Each page has 10 images, which makes calculating percentages easier too!

The interactive file has the same pictures but has a landscape format to better fit on a computer screen. It also includes picture “stickers” that can be dragged to a box after saying the target word. You can allow the student to do this as a reinforcement activity or you can place them as a way to keep data.

Included are 2 practice grid pages for each sound position: initial “sh,”  medial “sh,” and final “sh.” The pdfs are available in color and black and white versions.

Interactive Material: This material includes an interactive version that can be used in teletherapy. The file can be uploaded to Google Slides or opened in PowerPoint and then shared with the student. In order for the drag-and-drop pieces to work, make sure you are not in presentation mode. If you are using PowerPoint, you’ll need to enable editing.
